Janice, Linda & Marilyn made a May 2024 shopping trip to the fabric store so that aprons can be sewn all summer long!
We work closely with Sally of Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores in Mesa, Arizona. Sally is proactive in letting us know when she receives a shipment of the new, beautiful print and solid flannels we use to make the drain aprons. She also works with us to get the best "bang for our buck" when we purchase bolts of fabric that will become the drain aprons for individuals on their breast cancer recovery journey.
Each year, it takes several shopping trips to the fabric store to stock up on all the colorful flannel fabrics that are then cut and sewn into drain aprons.
We are thankful for everyone who supports our fundraisers and those who make generous donations to cover the cost of these beautiful fabrics. With the amazing support of those who attend our fundraisers and make generous donations, we are able to continue our efforts to support individuals on their breast cancer recovery journey.
The colorful bolts of fabric are cut into single and double drain aprons and pillow kits. They will be sent out to sewers at various locations who will complete the aprons and then the completed single and double drain apron kits are sent to hospital navigators and individuals who request the Drain Aprons.

Your donations also buy soft yarn that knitters turn into soft prothesis for women who have had single or double mastectomies. Women love their soft feel and light weight.

Knitted Knockers are made in various sizes and colors and sent out FREE of charge upon request to patients after a mastectomy.
